Lights! Camera! Action!

The Count Down Begins....

This week is our last week until our Holiday break!!! Woohoo!!!

Time is flying by too quickly!!! We did some mid year testing last week and continued with our Christmas activities. In the testing area...well...to my surprise a lot of them are doing pretty good in reading but then I still have about 7 who are not there yet. Those are my tutoring group. Yes, tutoring in Kindergarten....I know, it sounds bad to have 5 year old's stay for tutoring but it gives them more individual time. I'm hoping after the holidays the little light bulbs turn on. ~Ahh...and then there was light! heehee Many times it is developmentally and many times it isn't. For some reason many begin to blossom over the holiday and they sky rocket the last part of the year. ~Crossing my fingers!! What's key to their success is... a strong support system at home, then these munchkins will not have as many problems as others might. All in all they are doing great so far!! ~Whew!

Tonight was our Kinder Christmas Program!!! We all like to go above and beyond a normal production. Yes, I said production...haha! That's pretty much what it is and we go all out! Wow, what a turn out!!! It was crazy! Parents get so excited to see their munchkin on stage and it gets packed! Our parents turn out in huge masses for these programs but when it's Parent Night...uh huh...no shows!

My class did Santa's Workshop, it's a number I usually do if I teach Kinder. My munchkins program revolved around The Nutcracker Suite music which I love and loved to watch. I have wacky elves, little toy dolls, and toy soldiers in the program and they're all waiting for Santa to leave so they can come out and play. Each one of my munchkins truly fits their character! Yes, it's not like The Nutcracker but I just use the wonderful music and it turns out pretty cute.

They did such a wonderful job tonight!!! I was very proud of them! Wait!....let's hit rewind to a week ago! ~What a mess!!! I almost wasn't sure if this batch of munchkins would be able to do this or not! I was the Nazi choreographer/producer! (whatever that role is called) No offense to my German people! heehee I was a meanie!!! All the years in dance, Saltatrix, Trooperettes, Poms, Golddiggers...ugh...brought out the meanie in me! haha All my dance directors from the past jumped into me! ~Point your toes! Do it again! Again! Again!.... Don't break your wrist! Don't mess with your costume! Don't wave at anyone from the stage! Don't do this, don't do that...SMILE! oh yeah and have fun!! I know, I know... Sheesh they're only 5!!! Everything I remember going through all those years of dance and performing, I so appreciate everything I did and what each director taught me. Practice makes perfect! Poor babies probably thought I was the meanest teacher ever. ~I probably was!! The cute thing about all of this is that they now are aware of how to behave on stage. On Friday, 1st and 2nd Grade put on their own performances. Back in the classroom, my munchkins started discussing the things they noticed...~Someone waved when they were not supposed to. They played on stage. The girl dropped her hat and picked it up. They didn't do it together. Hearing their comments made it all worth wild that I have been the Nazi person...they did learn something!! Luckily I'm not the only one in my grade level like that...I have a partner in crime who also demands a lot from her class. To see my munchkins faces light up when they hear the cheers and claps and to hear them say ~That was fun!...is priceless. ~Ok, now I sound like a commercial! ha! They did their show twice in the morning for the school and once in the evening for their parents and they did a wonderful job and asked if they were going to do it again tomorrow! Haha! ~Whew, thank goodness it's over!!! Making the costumes and teaching them the simple little routine pooped me out!!!

We have 4 days left...Yay! Tomorrow we have a show that our Superintendent and 60 others are putting on for the schools. I'm sure my munchkins could give them a run for their money! Heehee J/K This week is going to be filled with more fun, sweets and Holiday cheer! Did I say sweets?...yummy!!! Stay tuned for more adventures in Munchkinville!

Beautiful Snow Day!!!

Poor Mr. NoNo...

Yesterday brought the first day of snow in EP for the holiday season. It was exciting for the munchkins, as well as, their teacher...Yippie! Snow just brings out such happy feelings, happy times, and it also created new memories for these little munchkins who have only been around 5 years. Wow!! Can I remember back to my first experience of snow?...hmmm....not sure if I can remember that far back..haha...I swear I'm an early Alzie or just not using my brain as much anymore! I'm not sure if I was five but it was when I was little and we would go downtown to the Placita during Christmas to see the tree, the moving decorations, and the nativity scene and there was a little snow. Love going there during the holidays and I planning on going this year too. Hopefully my little munchkins will be able to have the same wonderful experience with their parents as I did. Another memory of snow was in April many moons ago...yes April, the weirdest thing but the funnest too!

Last night the district followed along with most of the other districts and decided to start school 2 hours later today. Very nice for us!! Not very nice for parents!!! Eeek! Waking up to a beautiful white fluffy blanket of snow on everything was the best sight to see. It was still snowing and great to leave two hours later than usual. Why can't we start school at 9:30? Not that I'm a late sleeper it just seems the munchkins were more alert or maybe it was the excitement of the fluffy white stuff! Did I mention how many little munchkins showed up to class?...Well, I predicted 10 and to start the morning I had 8...~Woohoo!!! Twenty minutes later 2 more popped in...total for the day was 10! Still a Woohoo moment!! 10 munchkins only exist in Lala Land! Today was truly Lala Land in Munchkinville!!! It was heaven!!! The things I could do with only 10 munchkins!!

They were so excited about the snow and wanted to go out and play in it. ~I did too!! I had to control my excitement for them as well. Because half the class was missing they drew and wrote about the snow. Then I pulled out my Christmas decorations and Christmas tree and we started getting into the holiday spirit. Thank goodness for 99.9 who plays Christmas music all day long!!! The only thing missing was the hot chocolate which I thought of taking but didn't. ~Darn!

As I set up the tree they were cutting out little hands for our hallway paper tree. Boy oh boy, some of those little hands! The cutest thing is when I get alien hands, monster hands, 3 or 4 finger hands...eek! haha! They were so quiet and in deep concentration while working. haha! We need a lot more practice with scissors and cutting around and in between! Out of the 10 in class maybe half did decent hands and didn't amputate any fingers! Heehee! Once they finished cutting I put them together and presto! A Christmas tree!

Lunch came about an hour into arriving at school. The munchkins were also surprised...~It's lunch time already? That was fast! They also kept asking if I was going to take them outside like we tip toed out yesterday...~shh! don't tell anyone! heehee Of course I would, but I told them we would need to do some more work after lunch. That's when my little smarty pants, Mr. Blue Shoes said, ~but why are we going to do work when not everyone is here or are we going to do it again tomorrow? ~Yes, he makes sense but...shh.. I'm not going to tell him that! :) ~Don't worry Mr. Blue Shoes we'll go out when we finish another project after lunch.

After lunch came and went. The sun was starting to shine, so I wanted them to have a little time outside before it melted and PE, because then it would be time to go home...so we bundled up and were ready to go out. We were off to make a snowmunchkin! Six munchkins brought gloves and 4 didn't...hmmm???... ~Only the 6 who have gloves will help roll the snow and you 4 will help me with the things we need for our snowmunchkin. We tip toed out the doors to our spot in front of our class. Luckily one little girl understood how to roll the little ball of snow Mr. Blue Shoes did on the ground in order to make it bigger and bigger. The other little gloved munchkins followed her lead and did the same. I stacked up the body parts when they were done and my other little helpers helped put him together. ~Wait....hmm...something doesn't look right??? What's missing?? ...~Ahhhhhhh!!! We forgot the nose!!! One little munchkin volunteered to run back to the class and find something. ~Yeah right...knowing my luck if I let him do that, he'll run like a wild wet animal down the hallway and our cover is blown! haha!!! ~That's ok, let's see if we can find something out here. There was nothing!!! Not even a little rock! We decided to leave him without a nose. ~What do we name our snowmunchkin? Silence... Finally a little munchkin said, ~How about Mr. NoNo!? hmm... ~Why Mr. NoNo?...~Because he has NO NOse!! Wow...good idea! ~Ok, that's his name, Mr. NoNo! ~Yay!!!

In we went after our little snowmunchkin (Mr. NoNo) was done. Mission accomplished! The day went by so fast but we had such a great time! The next 13 days are going to fly by, then Christmas break!

Stay tuned for more adventures in Munchkinville!!!

Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow!!!

Yay! Yippie! Woohoo!! It snowed today at school!!

What a wonderful week off! I took so many things home for me to do during my time off...well, I did NOTHING for work!! Heehee! It was such a great week off but I was ready to see my little munchkins! Just a week off and they looked like they grew taller.

The munchkins were either frozen, full still from Thanksgiving, sleepy, or they matured just a little bit over the break because they were really quiet and really well behaved! Wow! It was nice whatever the reason may have been. We had rainy day schedule which means they stay inside ALL day! They stay in for lunch and they stay in for PE...no running off the wiggle worms today! To my surprise they were really, really, good and they worked so well and quietly!!! Crossing my fingers they continue this behavior but I may have just jinxed my unrealistic dream!

It rained most of the morning and it was cold outside but our oven classroom was pretty warm and toasty. I was glad to see parents dressed their munchkins in many layers and with big jackets and not only with itty bitty sweaters . Some came wrapped like little presents! haha They love, love, their gloves, scarves, and hats! I wouldn't doubt it if they sleep in them too! One just did not want to remove his gloves while he worked and had the hardest time doing anything with them on. ~Take your gloves off and put them in your backpack please. This was said more than once! He would take them off and then poof! they magically reappeared on his hands again!

From our window we watched the rain turn into little snowflakes then into large snowflakes. They were so excited...~Ooooh, Ahhhh! This turned into a quick, impromptu Science lesson. Those are usually the best lessons ever! They were dying to go out in the snow and so was I! Heehee!! It was lunch time or in my eyes brunch.. 11:00am is not breakfast nor lunch but brunch...I promised them that if there was snow still after lunch we would go out to take some pictures. ~Yay! Can we have a snowball fight too?? To their disappointment there wasn't that much snow yet on the ground after lunch but they still wanted to go out. I don't blame them I did too!!! A desert covered in snow is a beautiful thing and a rare thing to see! I had them put on every article of clothing they brought and some of them could barely walk or look around in their huge coats and jackets! A few looked like "Ralphie" from the movie Christmas Story...I thought they would tip over! haha! We were going to be sneaky and sneak outside...eek! ~Shhhh!!! Tip toe! They were cute tip toeing down the hall and out the door, not realizing no one was even remotely near our hallway or that anyone would even miss us for a quick 5-10 minutes!

We walked out to the blacktop and they saw their play area dusted in snow...~Woah!! Ooooh! Can we play on it! ...~No, your tooshies will be soaking wet and mommy wouldn't be too happy.

We walked to the front part of the school to take some quick pictures. ~Can we make a snowman? I would have said yes to that but there wasn't enough snow for a snowman then I hear...~How about a snow angel??? Hmm....should I let them or not? First I had to ask who knew what a snow angel was and only a few knew. Out of those few I picked one who looked pretty bundled and her jacket was long enough to cover her tooshie! The little ones who never saw a snow angel were dying to make one! I came this close to letting them all plop on the ground and flap away but I knew their little backsides would be soaked and they would freeze their little nalgitas (tooshies!) I was so tempted to let them but even though they were bundled up, their little bottoms would get wet...darn! ~Boo!... party pooper teacher is probably what they were thinking! haha! I told them they could make all the snow angels they wanted if it snowed more at home tonight. Surprisingly I didn't get a fight on that...just ~Ok! I tell you they were like different little munchkins today but in a good way!!!

We did our snow dance for more snow and I think it worked! Tomorrow the start of school has already been officially delayed for 2 hours...Yay!! That might mean no munchkins show up or maybe 10! Woohoo!! It happened I think 3 years ago and we had only 10 munchkins show up and had a blast!!! So I'll be doing my own snow dance tonight and saying my prayers for lots of snow! It is such a beautiful sight and gives you a wonderful feeling inside or was that lunch...heehee It really was a great experience for these little munchkins and a wonderful start to the beautiful holiday season!
Stay tuned for our snow filled adventure tomorrow!!!

I'm Thankful for...

With the holiday just around the corner...I'm Thankful for so much!

It's been almost a month since the last blog...not sure why??? I could blame outside factors but in all honest truth.. it's been from laziness! I'm not a lazy person but for some reason since the time change I've been exahusted and feel like I have no umph! This week off came at the right time...thank goodness! My time to revive myself and get ready for nonstop work. Next thing you'll know it's June!

I'm very thankful for what I do, my munchkins and everything and everyone in my life but I really need this week to get a hold of me again...whew!! Do we all go through this feeling from time to time in any job we hold? Do we feel sometimes we need a change in careers are we doing too much, not enough? When is it time to say enough is enough or do we continue to walk the walk and talk the talk? Do we go through the motions because we feel we have too?? Hmmmm....
I guess we all have to go through these feelings from time to time to evaluate ourselves. Journalist, doctors, nurses, accountants, lawyers, teachers, stay home mom's, and so many others go through the same thing....tired of the obstacles that interfere in making our careers enjoyable. Every job has it's ups and downs but I think those obstacle are what make us stronger and better at what we do. We have a passion in what we do and if that passion isn't there then it may be time to hang it up. Not enjoying what you do makes life too miserable. I'm fortunate to work with little munchkins who remind me day to day why I do what I do. Sometimes I question myself...do I work in education and adore working with the little munchkins to fill a void in my life???....possibly. Not having munchkins of my own and probably never will ~tick tock, tick tock...haha! All my munchkins over the last 12 years I consider a small part of them my own...I can love them, discipline them, care for them, adore them, and nurture them but then send them home. I spend 7 hours a day with these munchkins...sometimes more time than their own parents spend with them but at the end of those 7 hours, I can feel confident they all have been given 100% of me. Is that enough? Yes! I'm tired and don't have enough of me to go around! heehee! I wish every career could give their employees time to revive themselves or we just have to remember to take time for ourselves so we don't lose that passion for what we do.

Ok, enough of the soap box...back to munchkinville!!! Within the month of my laziness to blog so much has been going on in class! Time is really flying now!! The kids are starting to read so much now it's great!! We had a fun pajama day during our Red Ribbon week and measured our class pumpkin. The munchkins estimated with a string of yarn how big around our pumpkin would be. We had some too small, too long, and no just right. They learned it's ok to not always get the right answer.

We also did a mini unit on spiders, their life cycle, body parts, and how they eat...creepy crawly was a hit with them especially pin the leg on the spider!

My munchkins really were also interested in Dia De Los Muertos and learned the significance of that day and it's not a scary thing but a great cultural experience and a wonderful way to remember loved ones who have passed away.

Individual parent conferences were also held and they all turned out very well. About 5 parents were no shows! Boo!!! My little blue shoe boy has been having some problems...ugh! I'm not diagnosing but he has some very evident and strong characteristics of ADHD and it's really interfering with his learning. He was kept back already in Kinder last year because of it and bless his little heart he can't help himself to control it. I've tried little tricks of the trade I've used over the years to try and him help and so he can himself but it's not working!!! He has even told me that he feels "fast" inside. I had a great conference with mom and she's going to make an appointment with his pediatrician to have him evaluated. He has an older brother who had the same problems but they waited until 3rd grade to do anything and he struggled. Third grade in Texas is not the grade to struggle...poor munchkins! I know my little blue shoe boy can't help himself so I try to be as patient as I can but sometimes I wish I had a velcro wall to stick him to it! Heehee! Mom joked and said they would buy me the duck tape! haha!

Those of you wondering about "Jimmy," he's doing really great!! He's still a bit "different" if you're looking at behavior and things he does but who isn't?! I hope that doesn't sound bad. He has made some great gains and surprises me everyday. He has a great memory which really shocks me from time to time. He may be in his own world sometimes but he heard it all and got it!!! We were learning the parts of a spider and he was the first one to remember the word abdomen and so many other things. Shhhhh....don't tell anyone, but he's my favorite!!! Love, love, love him! He's so funny and the kids love him too!! His new thing to say instead of his old little saying now is ~Yup yup! He uses it for many things and changes the tone and inflection to fit his purpose.. ~Yup yup?, Yup yup. Yup yup! I usually answer... ~Nope nope. Heehee! He's learned to hug and not just stand and tilt his head. He loves hugs now and sneaks up every moment he can! The best moment was the day after I was out. I was sitting in a chair and he came up behind me. He likes to play his form of peek-a-boo or hide-and-seek with me when I'm in that chair. He stands behind me and giggles, every time I turn to see him he moves to the other side of me and laughs. We always play this for a little bit then tell him to go back and sit down. Since I was out the day before I asked him ~Did you miss me? and he nodded his head yes, he may have said ~yup yup too..haha! Then I felt his little arms behind me hug me from around the chair and said ~hugs. Awwwwww....I melted!!!

We took our wild things to see the movie Where the Wild Things Are based on the book by Maurice Sendak. They had a great time and it was a beautiful movie and experience for them. The conversations I was able to have with the 5 year olds before and after the movie was out of this world...I was really surprised at what they noticed and talked about. We discussed it a lot before we went because I didn't want them to see any parts as scary. None of them were scared and most of them actually understood the movie. Some of them noticed the Wild Things displayed characteristics of Max, the sister, and the mom! The movie is a wonderful inside to the inner struggle Max had with himself and the people in and out of his life. To think 5 year olds were picking up on some of this...hmmm...wow! I'm truly blessed with these munchkins and in awe of some of them.

From the growth and changes of pumpkins, spider life cycle, to Native American Indians, and Thanksgiving, our time has been nonstop and going full steam ahead. The little munchkins had fun learning about Native American Indians and creating their own story on their animal skin. The week came almost to an end with the little turkeys having Thanksgiving lunch with their parents...gobble, gobble, gobble! Now time for a week off! Woohoo!!!

After this much needed week long break is over we go back to school and we have 15 days then Xmas break. Christmas already? Are you serious?! We're planning our Christmas show and boy are we excited! Production in the works! My class is doing a Nutcracker-ish/Santa Workshop number...little toy soldiers, dancing dolls, and wild elves!!! Yay! Can't wait! Stay tuned...

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

I Found My Prince!

Hmmm....I'm still waiting...?? Bah?? ~Ok, maybe not! He's still a green little frog! heehee!
The munchkins had a family project due using the pumpkins they collected from the pumpkin patch last week. They were to decorate their pumpkin to make it look like anything they wanted. The only rule was they could not carve the pumpkin. Some families were very creative and some not so creative and no effort was put into the project...boo!! It was obvious which parents actually sat with their child to work together on it, which is the point of all our Family projects, and those parents who just didn't care at all. Sad, sad, sad!! (No I didn't post pictures of those.)

Witches, Superheroes, and Pirates...Oh My!

Today was our costume dress up day!! Boy were they bonkers!!! It was fun but crazy too! This week was our Red Ribbon Week/Say No to Drugs and they combined their costume day to fit in with Red Ribbon Week.

There were so many cute costumes and we (the teachers) dressed up too. Our student teachers also dressed up and looked adorable! Last year we went all out and dressed as the Disney Princesses. This year as teachers we took it easy and were kitty cats! So comfy!!!.......prrrrrrrrr.......meow.

Why didn't anyone tell me I was sooooo tall???!!! haha! Yes it just hit me today! haha! Standing with the other teachers and taking pictures was no big deal until I looked at the pictures! ~Redo please!!! I need to make myself shrink! Holy Mole Guacamole!! I'm GIANORMOUS! ~Ok, I'm not that tall! They're all short! heehee It was very strange and for some reason very weird seeing me with these girls, they laughed and all agreed...they're short! haha! Whew!! 5'9" isn't gianormous...or is it??

When the munchkins are out of uniform boy do they act up! They also act up when the weather is about to change. Don't ask me how we know that one but it's sooooo true. Every time there is a change coming in weather the munchkins start acting up! They're like little barometers! Yesterday and today they've been horrible!! I had to let out the Exorcist Teacher...my head spins and I spit out split pea soup...perfect timing for Halloween..haha! j/k They really have been awful but it was nice to hear that the other teachers were having the same problem the last couple of days. It's probably due to a combination of things; being able to wear their costumes, the change of weather, and they know it's a short week! Thank goodness for a short week with the kids because I don't think I like being the Exorcist Teacher! Split Pea green is not a good color on me or all over the classroom! haha!

The day flew by today and it felt like we really didn't do much...maybe because we didn't! heehee! We took tons of pictures and made our own little Halloween movie based on the book Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See? or version was Boo! What Do You See?

During the munckins P.E. time they got to see a real cow and how it gets milked. They were excited but bless poor Grace's heart for being out there all day. Grace is the name of the cow. Heehee! The poor cow was giving demonstrations all day long! She was hooked up to the milk sucking machine 7 times throughout the day (I'm sure it has a real name but I just kept thinking...ouch! Doesn't that hurt after awhile?) The munchkins loved hearing her mooooo!!! She was pretty loud and we (the teachers) kept saying she was probably saying ~take this thing OFF of me!

Tomorrow is a half day with the munchkins and pajama day!!! Yay! Another day of comfort!!! We'll see what pajamas they show up wearing! Then our inservices start for the next two days...ugh! Not sure how they'll go or what they have in store for us??? Stay tuned...

Pumpkins, Pumpkins, and Pumpkins

Last week our main adventure was a field trip to the Mesilla Valley Maze and Pumpkin Patch! Yay! Woohoo! (jumping up and down) Yippie!!!

We had so much fun!!! If you have never been to a maze or pumpkin patch it should be a must!! Mesilla Valley has the best one, I think! Not only did the munchkins have fun, each teacher did as well.

This was the first trip on a school bus for many of them and probably the first trip outside of their own neighborhood. It was an hour ride and no potty accidents! Whew!!! They were so good and had fun looking around as we drove through El Paso to Las Cruces, NM.

We had a little drama when we loaded the buses in the morning with our sack lunches and milk. Let's just say some, ok...one janitor isn't much of a gentleman. Sheesh! I think chivalry is dead!! I won't get into the details because I may throw in some colorful language that may get your eyeballs to pop out! haha! Let's just say, I wanted to bop him one!

Back to the happy times!....

The munchkins took a hay ride to the pumpkin patch and got to pick out their own pumpkin. They had so much fun and there were so many in the huge field! We had talked about how pumpkins grow and read them a couple of books with pictures, but for them to get the actual experience was amazing. It was cute to hear them use the vocabulary they had learned in class. They scurried like little field mice as they searched for their perfect pumpkins. They would see one, grab it, look at it, then move on to the next one. Once they found "the one" they knew! Guess that's like the perfect man! haha Pick a few and throw some back..haha! Yes, that's a whole other blog! heehee

The pumpkin vines are pretty tough and some munchkins had a hard time pulling off their pumpkins. Once one or two got the twisting action down right, they went around helping the others. We wrote names on the bottom of their pumpkins so they knew which one was theirs at the end of the day. The stem was pretty prickly and I was just like the munchkins searching for my "perfect" pumpkin and pricked myself a couple of times...ouch!

It was a beautiful day to top it off! After the hayride we sat to eat lunch and time was flying! It's true time flies when you're having fun! Boy were we having fun!!! Decisions, decisions...do we do the corn maze or the huge slides??? We had about an hour left because it would take us another hour to get back to school. If we get lost in the maze who knows how long it will take us to get out and if a search party would need to be sent in after us. Hmmm??? If we just slide then we don't get the experience of walking in a corn maze!! ~ Ok decision made!...we're going into the maze...eek! I had to remember a few things...DO NOT lose a child was #1...haha! ~Keep counting, 17 students, 17 students! Then I had to remember...pay attention! If I don't, we'll be going forever in circles. ~Should I leave bread crumbs like Hansel and Gretel?? No wait, one of the munchkins might eat them!! In we go!!!! ~Wow, look how tall Ms. Buddé! Taller than you! Are we going to remember how to get out Ms. Buddé....I hope so!!! As we walked a bit into the maze the turns started to creep up on us...right or left??? ~Wait...there's a sign! Mini Maze??!! It was a poem and clues to follow in order to get out... a shorter way out for the little munchkins. ~Yay! Whew! Thank goodness because I was beginning to get worried! It was the cutest poem about bees and there were 10 clues to help us out! Guess it was my Hansel and Gretel way out! ~Woohoo...we made it out!!

Now it was time for the slides!!! Wheeeeeeeeeeee! There were about 5 HUGE slides that they were excited to get on. Some of their little faces just looked up at them with a little hesitation but I had them grab their potato sack and run up the hill before they thought about it too much! After the first time down the slide they LOVED it and kept going back. That was the best part of the trip for me to watch...they were laughing so much it was adorable. Of course I had to go down the slide myself...heehee! As myself and my other partner in crime waited at the top for our turn...all our kids were at the bottom chanting our names...Ms. Buddé, Ms. Buddé, Ms. Cabral, Ms. Cabral! Little munchkins from other schools kept cutting in front of us...~Hey! It's MY turn...I wanted to say...heehee! Finally....Wheeeeeeeeeeee! SPLAT! Ms. Cabral crashed into me...haha! The kids loved to see us make fools out of ourselves and so did we!

It was time to load the bus...wait!...potty break before another hour ride back! On the bus some of them fell asleep...funniest thing ever! Poor things slept or squished each other or against the windows...but they were quiet! Shhhh!!!!!! Ahhhhh...nice!

What a wonderful experience they got and I was lucky to share it with them! What a fun day we had!

This week is a short week...tomorrow is their costume dress up day, Wednesday is pajama day and half day early release, Thursday and Friday the kids are off but we have teacher inservices...ugh!
Stay tuned for more....
